El Ayuntamiento celebra el Día de las Personas con Discapacidad y apoya la campaña Súmate al Verde de Asansull
El alcalde de Los Barrios, Miguel Alconchel; la delegada de Bienestar
Social, Sara Lobato; y el coordinador general de Asansull, Ismael Vaca, han
participado en el acto iluminación de la fachada del Ayuntamiento de Los
Barrios de color verde para celebrar el Día Internacional de las Personas con
Discapacidad.
Un acto al que han asistido los ediles del equipo de gobierno May
Gallego, José Antonio Gómez, Inmaculada Domínguez, Daniel Pérez Cumbre,
Pablo García y Antonio Dávila, así como el portavoz del PSOE, Daniel Perea;
y el de Ciudadanos, Pedro González.
Alconchel ha agradecido a Asansull la organización de este acto y su
labor social y comprometida durante todo el año. “Este es un acto simbólico
donde iluminamos en color esperanza nuestra fachada del Ayuntamiento en
señal apoyo a la reivindicación de sociedad más inclusiva para las personas
con capacidades diferentes”.
“Un día que tiene como objetivo promover y concienciar, otro año
más, sobre los derechos y el bienestar de las personas discapacitadas en
cualquier ámbito de la sociedad. Es un día para reflexionar sobre la
necesidad y el objetivo de avanzar en la integración plena de este colectivo
y seguir construyendo un municipio en donde nadie se quede al margen . Es
necesario que lancemos mensajes positivos de capacidad, y no de
discapacidad.”, añade el alcalde.
