El Ayuntamiento y el IES García Lorca estudian líneas de colaboración en materia cultural
Los tenientes de alcalde delegados de Cultura, Pilar Pintor, y de Educación,
Javier Vázquez Hueso, junto a técnicos municipales, han mantenido un encuentro de
trabajo con el director del IES García Lorca, Andrés Martín, en el Centro Documental
«José Luis Cano».
Durante esta reunión, se han estudiado diversas vías de colaboración entre el
Ayuntamiento de Algeciras y el Centro Educativo sito en la barriada El Saladillo, para
la implementación de unos talleres culturales destinados a la integración de la
comunidad mediante la transformación social en la Biblioteca Pública Municipal
“Esteban Valdivia y Cabrera”.
Los ediles han recordado que ambas instituciones llevan trabajando de forma
conjunta desde hace mucho tiempo para hacer de Algeciras una ciudad que ofrezca
a sus jóvenes mejores oportunidades para formarse e incorporarse al mundo laboral,
siempre desde la inclusión social y la promoción cultural. “Este mismo mes de
septiembre, el Ayuntamiento firmo con el García Lorca un convenio de colaboración
de cara a desarrollar un proyecto de formación profesional dual para el ciclo
formativo de grado superior en animación sociocultural y turística” han señalado.
